Atlas Copco screw compressors have always set the standard for
reliability and performance in the compressed air industry.
With the new GX 2-11, Atlas Copco brings the power and reliability
of an industrial screw compressor to small and medium sized
industry.
Traditionally, light industry has had to settle for inefficient
and noisy piston compressors. The GX 2-11 deliver Silent
Power and Simple Reliability.
The advanced sound dampening of these units insures Silent
Power. The sound level of the complete package is only 61
to 70 - dB(A).
Simple Reliability is insured as Atlas Copco screw compressors
are suitable for 100 % continuous duty. Additionally, the
number of components has been kept to a minimum so simplicity
is designed in from the start.
Complete compressed air installation
The GX 2-11 is delivered with all of the components
required for a complete installation.
The package has a minimum foot print that suitable
for customer who has limit space.
The prepiped tank mounted design promises very cheap
and easy installation.
All air connections have been optimized to minimize
pressure drop and reduces the potential for air leaks
for high efficient operation.
Reduced power consumption
The GX offers the low energy consumption and high efficiency
of a rotary screw compressor.
The standard start/stop control on the GX 2-5insures that
the compressor is only consuming power when compressed air
is needed. The GX 7-11 is equiped with energy efficient load/no
load control.
Simple and quick maintenance
Service points are grouped together and accessible through
the removable front panel.
Spin-on oil separator and filter for quick maintenance.
Continuous oil level display is equipped on the GX2-5.
Silent Power
The GX 4 is supplied with full sound enclosures, which
reduces the sound levels as low as 61 dB(A)

Full Feature air dryer
The GX 4 is available with a built-in refrigerant air dryer. A refrigerant
air dryer cools the compressed air and removes water vapor before it
can enter your compressed air network. This prevents rust in your
compressed air piping and avoids damage to your air tools.
PDx high efficiency air filter
All oil lubricated compressors expose your compressed air to oil vapors.
These oil vapors, combined with atmostpheric pollutants, can create
an abrasive oil sludge. The best way to protect your tolls and machinery
is to install an in line PDx air filter.
Electronic reciever drain
Compressed air recievers always require periodic drainage to remove
any condensate that may accumulate. With the electronic drain option,
this operation is handled automatically and efficiently.
