-The Lawson Omega Dryer combines high-intensity, "color-blind" infrared
heat with a reflective and fully insulated heat chamber that is
specifically designed to maximize energy efficiency. Lawson's exclusive
design accelerates ink curing by utilizing variable-wavelength
infrared, hot-air and reflective radiation.
Model 4816-2 -The Omega
is a multi-use dryer with easy expandability--great for textile curing,
including all brands of plastisol, puff, jacket and transfer inks. The
Omega (with the optional System-2 Jet-Air option) is also compatible
with most solvent-evaporative ink systems. Maximum versatility,
combined with state-of-the-art energy efficiency, makes the Lawson

All Lawson dryers come equipped with high-temperature, fiberglass

The outside of the heat chamber is metal-clad with a rugged, double

- Easy Built Tracking:
Details of machine-crowned pulley and direct-drive motor; employed to attain center-tracking and reduce belt fatigue.
- Adjustable Entrance & Exit Panels:
Trap and retain as much heat in the heat chamber as possible. Raise or
lower the entrance and exit doors/panels depending on the items being
dried. Heat loss is always minimized and you can also raise, lower and
tilt the heating elements for maximum versatility and efficiency.
- Heat-Saver Plates:
As the heating elements are adjusted either up or down, energy-saving
plates automatically move in place to trap the heat in the chamber.

- AT Package (optional):
Lawson's exclusive Advanced Technology (AT) Package provides additional
drying control and energy efficiency. The AT Package includes
specialized diagnostic controls, a digital temperature controller
(including theoretical and actual temperature), digital belt speed,
double-wall insulation (2" thick) and more. The solid-state control
system will provide years of trouble-free, reliable operation. It even
comes with a temperature/alarm bell when something goes wrong and a
flashing high/low visual display center to let you know when your dryer

- System 2 Jet-Air (optional):
Recirculating Jet-Air increases production, insures are more rapid cure
with water-base inks and reduces scorch on nylon jackets.
- Turbo-Cooler (optional):
Accelerate shirt cooling and eliminate "sticking" with
ambient/high-volume air. Bolt-on module with separate 120-volt plug-in
wire.
- Exhaust Hood (optional):
Use on exit or entrance or both as desired. Damper control standard.
