I own a mini-trooper and I absolutely
love it. I purchased the mini and Lawson sent their
tech to my shop in Pittsburgh for 2 days to do set-up
and training. The customer service is second to none,
and I have never had a problem with calling them and
having any question answered ASAP. I would recommend
talking to Andy B, he was my salesman, and he still
calls me just to check and see how things are going.

Dear Ben and colleagues,
Just wanted to let you know that we have successfully
printed our first job on your Lawson Mini-Trooper.
It was a tight register, two color print with large
coverage areas. The screens registered perfectly,
the shuttle flash did its job, and with one or two
minor "oops", we printed off 48 prints in
no time. Although it was a short run, it was perfect
for us to get our feet wet with automatic printing.
We look forward now to larger, multiple color jobs
in addition to our short run customer segment.
Thanks to Andy and Ricky for all their help and patience
with us at the Atlantic City Show.... we were a pain
in the butt! They showed us the utmost courtesy and
were extremely helpful in getting us trained sufficiently
to make us comfortable in setting up and running our
new press "unsupervised".

The Mini-Trooper is our second automatic. We added it
hoping to gain additional production and improve our
turnaround time by 30%. It was affordable and we thought
that it would help us out.
We were so wrong -- The Mini-Trooper has DOUBLED
our production. Its fast, easy to set up, and just
keeps working! Our press operator learned the entire
press in less than a day.
This is a remarkable press -- much more than the
price point would suggest. We needed some modifications
to make the press work in our situation and EVERYONE
at Lawson stepped up to accomplish it. Amazing Service-far
above and beyond what you could hope to expect.
Perhaps the best statement about the press is that
our production manager came to the office a few days
ago with a drawing of how she plans to rearrange the
press floor -- to make room for another Mini-Trooper!

I would like to take this
time to let you know how much I am enjoying my new Lawson
Mini-Trooper Automatic. I was hesitant from the beginning
in getting an “automated” press, since I
was so comfortable using my manual press. I had become
used to making adjustments and changing direction on
the fly, and I was in my comfort zone with the manual.
The other concern I had was that, even though we have
a nice healthy business, we do many small orders, and
I was afraid the Mini-Trooper would be overkill for
what I needed.
 The
wonderful people at Lawson assured me that I would
not be disappointed in purchasing the Mini-Trooper,
and once trained, I would realize the simplicity
of printing both the large and small jobs with
the auto. You (Lawson) were right! The ease of
printing jobs off of this machine is amazing,
even for me! The set up, alignment/registration,
micro-registration on the fly, etc, and most of
all, quality of the print, is amazing. I always
have focused on 110% quality, and thought we were
there before with the manual printer, but now
I KNOW we are there.
I decided, since making this large purchase,
to go all out and get the automated carousel as
well as the Lawson Hot-Shot Flash. Up front of
course, you always over analyze the spending money…..Should
I get it, should I not……and I have
to say, those two items were the icing on the
cake! I have made the right decision and could
not be happier with buying this equipment from
Lawson.
Lastly, without great support, nothing is worth
the spend. From the original discussions I had
with you, and then in speaking with Ben in St.
Louis (nice to get to speak with an owner of a
company!), I felt really comfortable in dealing
with Lawson. In fact, I did not even shop around
after that. I will opt for support and service
over a deal all day long!!!
Last but not least, the training Ron provided
was second to none. That of course was the missing
piece to making this whole purchase successful.
Ron was very pleasant to deal with, patient with
my SLOW learning process, and very, very thorough!
His detailed teaching and description, along with
my note taking, allowed me to step right into
the print and production mode. I really think
I have only had to look at the manual once since
I started using the Mini-Trooper.
Feel free to use me as a happy customer recommendation
for your products and service. Thanks again for
all of your time and I look forward to working
with all of the folks at Lawson in the future!

"I am blown away by the
Lawson Mini-Trooper. The Lawson Mini-Trooper is
my greatest investment of all time!
I have been a part-time screen printing shop since
1993. I'm 46 years old and feeling the effects of
the manual press. I do not advertise, but with the
Mini Trooper I may WANT to advertise! The jobs just
fly by now.
On occasions I involve my wife and my 2 college
kids in on the "work".
My shop is in a 16' x 20' building. The Mini Trooper
just "fit" my budget and my building
size. With a job of 3,000 shirts I recently bid
one and received, I have been blessed to pay-off
my machine already… so look out profits!
Besides t-shirts, I print a number of caps. I
had been manually printing with a Hat Champ. I
was able to attach the Hat Champ to the Mini-Trooper
and "Wow!" Talk about getting a job
done consistent! This machine is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And so is the Hot-Shot Shuttle Flash Dryer!"
