Screen Printing Training courses are held at Lawson Screen Products' Atlanta and St. Louis branches. The St. Louis class starts on Fridays and carries over to Saturday, while the Atlanta is a one day class.
Lawson's monthly two-day class offers hands-on Screen Printing Training for novice printers.
The screen printing class covers basic art design and preparation. It also covers mesh selection for lights and darks, hands-on screen making and exposure systems, hands-on press setup and registration. In addition, production techniques, equipment maintenance, general trouble-shooting, and hands-on screen cleaning and stencil removing is in the screen printing class. Lawson also offers a $395 class at its St. Louis facility for novice automatic printers called "Introduction to Automatic Garment Printing."
