What You Missed from SGIA NOLA
While Hurricane Nate threatened to slow us down, there were over 25,000 people who registered. The SGIA Expo keeps growing. From our start in 1949, Lawson has always loved being in the middle of the growth in screen and digital printing equipment and supplies.
As always, it is such a great time catching up with existing customers and meeting new ones. This SGIA show was no different. We constantly heard from customers how a 20 year old dryer was still running or how our 24/7 Print Support got them out of a jam on a Saturday. It is great hearing all the success stories from our Lawson print family.
Lawson showcased two of our Award Winning Screen Printing Equipment at this show. First, the Ajax-Reclaimer, which was a big hit. After looking at all the various automatic reclaimers, one customer told us he bought the Ajax-Reclaimer because “it was simply amazing, and amazingly simple.” Another new Ajax-R owner was a smaller screen printer who just wanted to get back some of his free time. He no longer wanted to always be stuck doing the dirtiest job and letting his dirty screen stack up.
Our other piece of equipment that won best manual screen printing press was the Lawson Proton. Those at the show who are experienced screen printers loved its registration warranty and precision. Those people new, or looking to get into screen printing, loved how simple it was to use and the fact that it could start as a 1-color/1-station and go up to a 4-color/4-station anytime.
Besides equipment, Lawson is always willing to help out any of our clients with awe-inspiring advice on a variety of applications and printing processes. Whether they want to print vinyl, textiles, corrugated plastics or other rigid materials, the possibilities with Lawson are endless.
